Data Modeler Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - 6-8 Years of total experience with at least 3 years of Data Modeling experience
? Translate business requirements to logical and physical data models
? Manage complex functional and physical data models, integrating multiple applications and source systems
? Strong experience and knowledge of Star schema and snowflake model
? Good understanding of database systems, distributed databases
? Experience with cloud databases such as Amazon Redshift, Casandra, NO SQL is a mandatory
? Experience modeling for varied database systems like MS SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Oracle etc.
? Optimize and enhance existing logical and physical data models to support new and existing project requirements
? Evaluate existing data models for variances and discrepancies
? Develop data models adhering to established standards and guidelines
? Maintain the data models with metadata
? Perform reverse engineering of data models from existing databases and SQL Scripts
? Review new application design and provide recommendations and corrections as needed
? Hands on experience with using ERWin data modeling tool, preferably version 9.2+
