Lead - SQL Data Engineer Job Opening in CHICAGO, Illinois - Role: Programmer/Developer Lead - SQL Data Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (local only)

Responsibilities:
? SQL DB Engineer will write scripts that allow for data from production systems to be pulled into lower environments for testing
? Scripts will need to be versioned, maintained and managed long term
? This will involve coordinating with architects, capability leads, customer, infrastructure teams as well
? Work with teams across domains to implement best practices for data modelling and perform regular reviews
? Work with Data architects to Identify and recommend strategies to maintain data availability and consistency across enterprise applications through ETL, virtualization, etc.
? Work with Data architects to implement strategies to scale data layers to support large spikes in usage and data growth, and ensure the database platforms are scaling accordingly
Skills Required:
? Have 6-9 years of experience in multiple database technologies ? SQL must have
? Expert in RDBMS technologies
? Have actively played a key role in large enterprises projects using industry leading data strategy solutions
? Expert in data modelling at enterprise level and industry reference data models
? Expert in enterprise data integration and virtualization
? Strong attention to detail for delivering high quality work
? Experience working in a cloud infrastructure environment with setup such as AWS
? Good written and verbal communication skills
? Willingness to travel and work with global teams
? Bachelor's or master?s degree in Computer Science or related field
