Records Analyst Job Opening in jacksonville, Florida - Records Analyst My world class aviation client is seeking a qualified candidate to perform the following duties: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Records Analysts are responsible for the correct and timely loading of all aircraft data into an aviation maintenance tracking software solution. The Records Analyst will ensure all documents associated with assigned aircraft are scanned and archived in accordance with established guidelines. Additionally, the Records Analyst will perform detailed analysis of aircraft logbooks, maintenance documentation and maintenance manuals ensuring all parameters of aircraft maintenance requirements are accurately entered. - Research / analyze aviation logbooks and other forms of maintenance documentation to determine compliance in accordance with specified maintenance requirements; - Research Aircraft, Engine and component specific maintenance manuals to determine required maintenance actions and associated intervals; - Read and understand Aviation Maintenance Manuals and other related Aviation instructions i.e. Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins; - Determine applicability of Airworthiness Directives and various types of Service Bulletins; - Prepare, categorize and scan customer aircraft logbooks / maintenance documentation into computer system for processing; - Accurately enter aircraft data into computer application; - Accurately determine relationships between aircraft, engine and component current total times and time at install and derive a value if missing from available documentation; - Prepare documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel; - Liaise with Account Representatives and Quality Control personnel as necessary to ensure accurate and complete aircraft data loads; - Properly safeguard all aircraft logbooks that are assigned for processing; - Continuous monitoring of the processes for any process improvements and notifying the Records Analyst Manager of such process improvement opportunities; - Additional tasks that may be assigned which are normal and customary for this position. REQUISITE SKILLS: - Experience with Aircraft Logbook entries and research - Working knowledge of aviation maintenance manuals - Must be extremely detail oriented - Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook and Windows. PREFERRED SKILLS - A&P License EXPERIENCE: High-energy individual with 2 - 5 years experience directly related to aircraft maintenance or aircraft record keeping. Experience with aircraft maintenance and compliance requirements, including aircraft records audits, AD and SB research. Additionally, familiarity with FAA regulatory documents and requirements is preferred. Ideal candidate will demonstrate strong working knowledge of aircraft logbooks and other common forms of aircraft maintenance documents, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to research aircraft maintenance manuals.
