Sales Representative Job Opening in Rutland, Vermont - JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Representative sources new sales opportunities and closes sales to achieve set goals and quotas. The Sales Representative plays a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. This position specializes in the complete line of cable transport systems and would be responsible for the Eastern U.S. Territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Become familiar with existing client base and expand by attracting new clients
Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
Update client information in company contact database
Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
Keep current with information on newly introduced products, pricing, and marketing strategies in order to monitor competition
Work with Regional Manager and national sales team to assist development of strategic and operational sales plans to increase sales and gross margins
Regularly meet with regional manager to review progress on goals and status of prospective customers
Face to face meetings at the customer site required
Promote Urban and Tourism product lines outside the ski industry
JOB
Bachelor?s degree preferred
2+ years? direct sales experience required
Experience working with contracts greater than $500,000
Experience in the ski industry preferred but not required
Knowledge of Engineering concepts in relation to products manufactured
Extensive travel in New England area and beyond including Colorado factory
Reside in area
