GNTI was founded in 1999 and has enjoyed growing in the local community ever since. We can come to your location to fix your computers and/or networks at either your home or office. Whether it is support for basic home setups or for large enterprises, we have the solution. GNTI, Inc. is now looking for an energetic Network Administrator doubled by a Helpdesk support technician. The ideal candidate for this position would have great customer service skills and the ability to work independently. This position is also responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate computing infrastructure ranging from desktops to servers including netwok and storage infrastructure LAN/WAN/SAN. Responsibilities: - Helpdesk - Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution - Network planning, security, installation, maintenance and administration Duties: - Design, test, implement and document servers and server based application software including installation and upgrade - Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot IP based LAN/WAN/MAN - Maintain all systems, applications, security and network configurations - Monitor and maintain network security systems including firewalls, IDS and anti-virus - Install monitor and maintain SAN based storage systems - Manage data backup and archiving systems - Recommend upgrades, patches, new applications and equipment - Offer technical support and guidance to users. Experience required: - Must be able to maintai a flexible work schedule and respond to off-hour calls - Requires 5 years relevant experience supporting systems and network services in multi server, multi platform environment - BS in related field or equivalent work experience - Comptia A , Network , Security or equivalent certifications - Experience with data center maintenance (racking, cabling and labeling physical equipment) - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, WINS, DHCP, DNS and user object management - Experience with Windows Server 2000/2003/2008, Exchange 2009/2007, Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Server Applications - Strong understanding of netwoirk protocol suites and end-to-end network analysis. - Experience with Cisco IOS routers, switches, and unified wireless infrastructure. - Experience with checkpoint, AVAYA, EMC, HP, Riverbed product offerings Skill requirements: - Able to observe strict confidentiality - Ability to effectively collaborate with Senior Level Technicians and Project Managers to deliver customer solutions on established timelines - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Attention to detail is a must - Must be able to function in a High energy and Dynamic team environment Other skills: - 2000/2003 MCSA/MCSE - Experience with Sonic Wall, Watchguard, Astaro - Experience with Citrix, Metaframe, Xenup and Access Gateway - Experience with Web development and Design seattle wa washington
