Inside Sales Job Opening in Oshkosh, Wisconsin - Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles incoming sales calls, inquiries, orders, expedites and complaints promptly and completely.
Places outgoing calls to quote follow-ups including expedites.
Places cold calls to customers with dormant accounts.
Processes orders and inquiries from fax/email.
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Able to successfully use the AS400 and accurately complete paperwork as assigned.
Able to use communication devices proficiently.
Able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication.
Wears approved personal protective equipment such as safety glasses when needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions may consist of repetitive motions. Physical requirements include continual sitting and some standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and twisting with periodic bending. The ability to walk, talk, listen and the use of the hands is required of the employee on a daily basis.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:
Previous sales experience required. Previous metals experience helpful, but not necessary.
Knowledge of the Microsoft programs and able to use them on a daily basis.
Strong keyboarding and math skills.
Basic blueprint reading
Ability to listen and organize daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility and the ability to prioritize.
Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safety precautions.
Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a production team.
