Cloud Infra Support Analyst_Bentonville Job Opening in Bentonville, Arkansas - Role and Responsibility
The Infrastructure Analyst, supporting Platform as a Service is responsible for implementation and management of PaaS solutions such as OneOps, Redhat Openshift, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, OpenStack etc. in support of a containerized deployment model. Software to be integrated in a PaaS solution includes those products used for building micro-services such as Apache Tomcat, Play, Nginix, NodeJS, as well as DevOps tools used to automate and accelerate the software development life cycle (SDLC), such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Git.
The PaaS Analyst will guide customers from use of legacy multi-tiered solutions to use of secure containerized solutions.
In addition to the above the PaaS Analyst will:
- Should have experience in OpenShift container platform.
- Understanding of networking concepts like configuring ports, firewalls, network health check
- Understanding of Linux commands and basic shell scripts
- Work with support teams, customer, and other internal groups to address product requirements and resolve customer issues.
- Mentor junior team members in management of PaaS implementations.
Required Skill :
- 2+ years of experience in administering app/web servers (Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, WebSphere).
- 2+ Experience in OpenShift- Experience in Chef/Ruby is preferred.
- 3+ year of experience working in a cloud environment.
- Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following cloud solutions: OneOps, Microsoft Azure, AWS.
