Project Manager Job Opening in Long Island City, New york - Project Manager
Position Summary
TripleCare is seeking an individual to manage and support its client implementations and overall operations. TripleCare is a leading provider of telemedicine-based physician services to nursing facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong project management background and experience in health care, with exposure to the nursing home industry preferred but not required. Familiarity with various project management approaches and software, along with solid communication skills and literacy in IT and computers are essential. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Role and Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation of TripleCare?s services in newly contracted nursing facilities. Manage the initial client relationship, implementation schedule, operational checklist and launch process from inception to go-live.
Direct communication with client facility stakeholders across a variety of disciplines (facility leadership, marketing, IT, clinical staff, etc.)
Coordinate the operations team and outside vendor(s) to assess nursing facilities? wireless infrastructure.
Develop and refine systems to monitor and report on the speed and efficacy of client implementations and report results to the sales team, Director of Client Services, and management team.
Support the hiring process of additional project managers as TripleCare scales
Contribute to the development of company-wide operational strategy and growth plan in collaboration with the management team
Required Skills
Strongly self-motivated individual who must be comfortable working in a constantly changing, fast-paced startup environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential
Affinity for caring for people and working with empathy both internally and externally
Be comfortable managing and/or working with a variety of individuals in disparate roles, including physicians, nurses, executives, IT technicians, marketers, etc.
Strong leadership - helping to set the tone for others and taking initiative and responsibility
Ability to think strategically, problem solve creatively and guide others to do the same
Keen attention to detail in all communications, presentations, and customer support decisions
Adept in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and other standard systems and tools
Can travel when required
Qualifications and Education
Anywhere between 5-10 years? experience within the healthcare arena is required
Some exposure to nursing facilities and post-acute care is preferred
Strong preference for previous experience in project management, particularly in healthcare
Outstanding academic achievements
Compensation
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience
