We are looking for a degreed Senior Accountant, (preferably a CPA) with significant experience in public accounting to join our established CPA firm. We are a public accounting firm located in SW Arlington, and our clients are primarily private individuals, real-estate investors, and small businesses in the DFW area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant at our Firm, one of your main duties will include preparing many types of individual and corporate tax returns with very limited supervision.
It should be a given that your accounting and tax skills must be top-notch. You must be very knowledgeable of general accounting practices and theory, as well as current tax laws and regulations. The nature of this work requires that you be very observant of details by nature, with no tolerance for sloppiness.
Familiarity with computers, and using software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and tax programs is a must.
Many of our clients are in real estate and construction related industries. Experience in these industries would be beneficial to you and our firm, but is not considered mandatory for the position, as long as you have working knowledge of related tax and accounting considerations.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
5+ years of public accounting experience
Ability to use Quickbooks, and other accounting and tax software
Ability to prepare individual and corporate tax returns, and financial statements
Experience interacting directly with clients, and managing client relationships
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree in accounting (or tax or related field)
CPA Certificate (Or CPA candidate close to finishing requirements)
7+ years of experience working in the public accounting field
Bonus Qualifications:
Public accounting supervisory experience.
