Credentialing/Data Entry Specialist Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - Medversant is looking to hire a motivated and ambitious self-starter to join our dynamic team as a Credentialing/Data Specialist. We focus on providing operational efficient solutions to healthcare payers and providers matched with exceptional customer service and strong product technical assistance to assure our continuing growth and success.
Credentialing/Data Specialist Job Duties:
Processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications for both provider and physicians and understands required credentials for both.
Reviews applications, prepares verification letters and maintains provider enrollment database.
Contacts medical office/facility staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
Credentialing/Data Specialist Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office products, other software programs, and office equipment such as fax, copiers, and scanners is required.
Excellent customer service skills, strong oral and written communication skills, proven abilities related to attention to detail and organization skills and excellent analytical and problem solving abilities are required.
Requires a Bachelor's degree with 1+ years' experience
