Behavioral Health Clinician Job Opening in North Providence, Rhode island - Responsibilities include: Provision of outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and their families. The Clinician works as an integral member of the Health Center Care team, providing integrated behavioral health services to patients of the Health Center (UMASS Primary Behavioral Healthcare Model). Must provide immediate crisis interventions and brief intervention to patients related to health behavior changes. Document and maintain all clinical interventions in the electronic record.
Full-time position, which includes one evening per week. Each Behavioral Health Clinician will be responsible to be on call approximately once every five weeks.
Must possess a Master?s degree in Social Work; Must possess an unrestricted license to practice in RI (LICSW). LCDP certification a plus. Must have excellent written and oral skills. Must have good interpersonal skills and compassion for patients. Possess the ability to work with individuals with diverse education, economic and cultural backgrounds. Works well independently and as a team member.
