Accounting Manager - Northern NJ Job Opening in Paramus, New jersey - A long standing client with its headquarters in Northern NJ is seeking an Accounting Manager. This role will have full responsibility for the day to day accounting and finance operations for the company.
The main responsibility of the Accounting Manager will be:
month end close
analysis
financial reporting & financial planning
inter-company analysis
fixed asset review
The Accounting Manager will handle the preparation of all the financial statements and must be able to accurately put together a P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows. Strong US GAAP knowledge is required for this role.
The Accounting Manager will also provide support to senior management at the organization and should have keen analytical abilities and well and outstanding systems skills, preferably with experience working in a larger ERP system such as Oracle and SAP. Also must have strong Excel and other Microsoft skills. Will work closely with all teams to provide the financial support on strategy and analysis related to the operations of the company.
The Accounting Manager will handle all of the day to day accounting, including the accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements, banking, payroll, and benefits administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of experience in accounting
Strong software skills plus experience with intermediate level Excel
Can multi-task
CPA a plus
Must be comfortable rolling up sleeves and being very hands on
Great work ethic and a positive nature
