Program Manager Job Opening in palm springs, California - Program Manager Program and Operations Manager The Golden Rainbow Center in Palm Springs is hiring a Program and Operations Manager to support extensive programs and services for LGBT people. The Center provides health and wellness programs, clinical counseling, a fun and welcoming meeting space for the community at-large and operates a weekly food bank for the community. The manager will be the organizing force behind the day to day operations of the Center, spearheading program promotion, registration, accounting and facilities coordination. We seek a highly energetic, customer service oriented associate to keep things running efficiently as a key member of our team. Other responsibilities include special event coordination, outreach into the community, assisting with communications projects, and tracking all member and program data. The ideal candidate will have several years experience in program operations or related project work, great precision and attention to detail, warm interpersonal skills and personality suited for dealing with the public, flexibility around work hours, be a team player and enthusiastic about advancing the mission of the Center. Proficiency in current office software programs is required. Any design or desktop publishing skills are a plus. Salary is to be commensurate with candidate?s experience.
