Sales Support Specialist Job Opening in Greenville, North carolina - Red Shark Digital is a leading full-service Digital Marketing Agency, located in Uptown Greenville, NC. We deploy versatile digital strategies for ambitious organizations to connect and convert their customers. Our team is currently seeking a marketing minded, dynamic and data-driven individual for the position of Sales Support Specialist. This person will directly contribute to the success of our sales team by working and assisting with every aspect of the sales process for our Account Managers.
In this position, you will also work closely with management, digital strategists and development teams. You will take ownership in the planning and preparation to provide everything needed for a Sales team member to be completely prepared for a sales meeting. You will own all facets of the internal sales processes from the initial preparations and analysis to after the sale and ensuring we are delivering on key KPIs. This role will be a second liaison as a dedicated RSD team member contact for the client, also ensuring that we are consistently providing absolute and superior service at all times. A successful Sales Support Specialist will have marketing and/or sales experience, customer service oriented and a constant strive to drive client satisfaction, retention and growth.
You will further work to develop efficient process while adhering to best practices working with a multitude of industries. We require someone that is assertive, client first focused and a true team player. You will be expected to be involved directly with management to ensure we are working within budget and delivering against KPIs. The Sales Support Specialist will play a key role in overall company success and will adequately prepare you for a potentially future outside Account Manager role.
Responsibilities:
Drive superior client satisfaction, retention, and growth
Establish clear contact points and fulfillment expectations
Build relationships and assess areas of opportunity to improve client relations
Establish upsell opportunities for existing client base
Prepare audits and research to write effective proposals
Assist the sales team with research data to drive new sales through prospecting and meeting with potential viable clients
Work closely with executive management and internal staff to ensure client project statuses are communicated adequately with clients and expectations are managed pro-actively
Raise and hold the bar on quality deliverables you are proud and confident of
Have a strong product/service understanding in order to lead clients to success rather than ?order taking?
Leverage company and industry expertise to make data-driven decisions that produce actionable results
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years in sales and customer service experience
2+ years in advertising or marketing experience
1+ year of leadership experience
BA/BS degree preferred
Digitally savvy
Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and to identify and resolve problems independently
Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven, client satisfaction atmosphere
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills
Superior customer service skills
