Recover Health?s broad range of services affords individuals the opportunity to remain at home and live as independently as possible. We provide care to children, adults, and seniors ranging from those who have complex medical or personal needs that require more sophisticated or intensive interventions to those who need general daily living assistance.
The Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Supervisor evaluates and participates in all nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service within the team.
Responsibilities
Maintains clinical record documentation according to agency policy and procedures and state/federal regulations
Ensures compliance with regulations and is available for federal and state licensure surveys
Participates in Performance Improvement activities including but not limited to clinical record review, quality indicator monitoring, and quality management for medical staff in alliance with the Branch Director
OASIS and/or coding experience is strongly desired
Coordinates educational and health activities for the Recover Health staff members maintaining certifications and immunizations guidelines as set by the agency policy and procedures and state/federal regulations
Supervises the RN Clinical Supervisor Assistant as assigned in addition to RN, LPN, and HHA field staff
Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and terminating (with administrative approval) all interdisciplinary staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining colleagues; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Acts as Branch Director as needed to cover absences.
Ensures maximum utilization of resources while promoting a positive and collaborative culture embedding our mission in every interaction
1:1 direct patient in-home care; will carry various caseloads due to coverage, patient census ebbs and flow
Supervises patient and family care as specified by the plan of care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service, and quality of care Applies knowledge of clinical and administrative policies and practices ? communicates potential risk management issues and reports as required by law
Assures accurate implementation and documentation for prior authorizations, billing, and payroll
Ensures provision of training related to clinical practice issues, regulation & reimbursement
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment
Prior Home Healthcare or LTC
Proactive approach to intake management demonstrating leadership skills at all times
Registered Nurse with experience in Home Healthcare
Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement preferred
