Mission:
In our Controller, we are seeking a seasoned finance executive with experience at high growth companies to assume day to day management of most general and administrative (G&A) functions, while supporting the business?s strong growth.
We are a lean enterprise, yet operate in multiple countries. We strive to provide outstanding service and support to our clients? learning and development needs and require teammates able to do the same internally.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Controller includes:
direct oversight and review of:
accounting and payroll processes and transactions
internal accounting controls
consolidations
cash management
foreign currency translation of multiple currencies
financial reporting (consolidated and legal entity) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
income tax and value added tax planning and preparation with our in-country tax accountants in multiple jurisdictions
billing and collections efforts
timely financial performance reporting and financial analysis
development and monitoring of key software as a service (SaaS) operating metrics
migration to a subscription analytics, metrics, deferred revenue and invoice management system
subscription agreement and contract administration
financial forecasts and modeling
annual operating plan development
strategic plan development
Board material preparation
fundraising related activities
light legal agreement (i.e., nondisclosure agreements, subscription agreements, compliance reporting, etc.) review
Required skills:
Vice President, Finance or Controller experience at a subscription based company and/or business to business environment
ten or more years of progressive finance experience
experience at rapidly growing enterprises
exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - are critical
extraordinary problem skills
ability to lead and manage projects
heightened sense of urgency exemplified on all matters
ability to multitask and provide very timely support to all constituents (internal and external)
strong capacity and desire to learn new technologies
attention to detail to ensure all projects and tasks are clearly communicated and documented
undergraduate degree in finance or accountancy required; master?s degree preferred

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with plenty of initiative, always looking for ways to improve the Company. While most of the work for this position is conducted independently, you must be a team oriented individual and embraces effective communication to all teammates and comfortable working with much of the team virtually that work outside our executive headquarters.
A passion for new technological advancements is helpful to the role as is a desire for our Company to be winners in a competitive marketplace. You must enjoy multitasking throughout the day and be adaptable to lots of change.
The position will report to our Chief Executive Officer.
