The HR Director reports directly to the CEO, who is an engaging and extremely well-respected executive within the healthcare system. The HR Director will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources within the hospital: recruitment, staffing, compensation and benefits, performance appraisals, implementation of HR policies required by the business, coaching supervisors on personnel issues, etc. The Director will work collaboratively with other leaders to achieve facility goals through human capital management. This individual will be the resident expert on government law relating to Human Resources (e.g. HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA, etc.) and will be tasked with organizing and assisting with training related to changes in the law and areas such as harassment, workplace conflict management, etc. If you are excited by this level of responsibility and possess the required skills and background, we want to talk to you!
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree with a concentration in Business, HR (Human Resources), or related field
3+ years as an HR Generalist in a hospital / healthcare environment required
Strong understanding of state and local HR laws
HRIS experience
SPHR or PHR preferred
