Patient Care Coordinator Job Opening in Scottsdale, Arizona - Prominent Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Scottsdale is seeking a well-qualified full-time patient coordinator who will support the physician. This practice is seeking someone extremely sharp, personable, smart, professional and polished. Office experience, solid work history and stability are mandatory. Candidates with a background in plastic surgery and patient coordinating are the only candidates who will be considered. This position is heavily reliant on advanced computer, writing, sales and marketing skills; must be highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Photoshop, Social Media platforms and the ability to gain a strong command of new computer/technology systems. The position requires that you travel to our Sun City office at least one day a week for clinic.
Qualifications:
Provide support to physician
Strong sales background and the ability to prepare and present cost analysis
Extensive knowledge about plastic surgery and different procedures
Ability to schedule surgeries and coordinate anesthesia
Assist in answering incoming calls, patient appointments and patient communication, while upholding patient confidentiality
Serve as back up support for other staff members
Update physician?s website monthly
Take and organize before and after photos
Assist in designing marketing campaigns
Prior experience as a plastic surgery patient coordinator is required
College degree or equivalent preferred, not mandatory
Expert in multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing is a must
Proactive and anticipatory
Strong problem solving with ability to get things done
Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service
Detail oriented with ability to work independently and prioritize workload
Demonstrates a high level of integrity, professionalism and ability to be engaging with patients
Energetic, responsive team player with the interest to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work 8:30am - 5:00pm, with overtime as requested
Proven ability to work well with others; must be a good team player
Must be highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Photoshop, Social Media platforms and the ability to gain a strong command of new computer/technology systems
Must have demonstrated experience as a pro-active, detail-oriented, fast learner able to master procedures, assess guidelines and analyze needs quickly and efficiently
Flexible and willing to handle last minute changes and issues as they arise
