Project Coordinator/Office Manager Job Opening in Bountiful, Utah - We are looking for a driven, self-motivated Project Coordinator / Office Manager to join our team. Summary
The Project Coordinator / Office Manager will perform routine office manager duties while also providing project coordination for Legacy Design Group (LDG) civil engineering projects. This position will research and work closely with various city, county and other government entities to assure local requirements are met (fees, deadlines, content, etc.) Managing project contract amounts and invoices will also be part of this position. The Project Coordinator / Office Manager will be responsible for the schedule and fiscal success of multiple design projects assisting the Project Manager and Design Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator / Office Manager
Strong understanding of development and design processes from start to finish.
Research various agency requirements for drawings, specifications, permits and fees.
Responsible for the preparation, issuance and authorizing progress payments of subconsultant contracts.
With assistance from accounting department, provide direction on creating and issuing invoices.
Create and update project schedules.
Responsible for coordination and tracking of multiple projects concurrently.
Coordinate with other disciplines and professionals including architects, engineers, contractors and attorneys to meet project requirements for local governments.
Closely verify and follow governing agency requirements for submission of drawings, specifications, permits and fees to obtain a building permit.
Communicate professionally with City, State and local Engineers regarding codes and requirements for the civil design portion of commercial projects throughout the U.S.
Job Requirements
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Excellent multi-task and organization skills.
Good understanding of engineering and development principles.
Must be reliable, professional, consistent and serious about the tasks at hand.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor?s degree from a college, university or technical school is preferred with experience and knowledge in the basic tasks and phases of development and engineering (due diligence, design, permitting and construction)
