Job Description
Kirkendoll Management (KM) is currently seeking a Director of Technology to manage a variety of projects related to the entertainment and hospitality industries. The Director of Technology will serve as the liaison between Kirkendoll Management?s Executive and Internal Development Teams, as well as Outsourced Development companies. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Enterprise web applications and Mobile Application software development, as well as a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.

Kirkendoll Management is a hospitality management company that owns and operates nightclubs and restaurants throughout the southern United States. It also owns the worldwide rights to license the Penthouse Club name for use in gentlemen?s clubs.
The KM team has invested heavily in creating proprietary technology products to operate restaurants and gentlemen's clubs more efficiently. KM?s Technology Department prides itself on its ability to make impactful improvements to KM nightclubs and restaurants by using a combination of proprietary software & hardware products, commercial off-the-shelf systems, and tight business operational processes to improve revenue. The Director of Technology will play a crucial role in continuing to develop and improve exciting new software and hardware products for use in clubs and restaurants around the world.
Ideal :
Bachelor?s degree with a major in computer science, computer or management information systems, or a closely related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager
PMP (or certification of equal value) preferred
Agile and waterfall software/business development processes
Knowledge of Enterprise-grade development, LAMP, Web Services, Mobile App Development, CSS, HTML, C#, Java
Understanding of business and technical use cases
Experience with E-commerce web sites, POS systems, Business Intelligence reporting platforms
Experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Jira, or similar bug tracking tool
Experience developing Project Plans, Budget Projections, Burn Down/Up Charts, Project Proposals, Charters, and Executive Summaries
Knowledge of the nightclub, bar, or restaurant industry and open to working on projects related to the promotion and improvement of the business side of restaurants and gentlemen's clubs
Desire to be a part of a high paced, high energy company with global customers
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall coordination, direction, implementation and execution of projects related to KM?s Technology Department
Oversee the planning, staffing, implementation, and tracking of one or more projects
Work with sales, pre-sales and engineers to define services portion of our solution proposals
Coordinate transition from Professional Services to on-going Support, at completion of product deployments to customers
Initiate and plan the project by establishing its format, direction, and baselines that allow for variance measurements and change control
Create project schedules that accurately show resource allocation, key milestones, and project completion dates
Review project schedule with key stakeholders for evaluation and alignment
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of projects from creation to completion
