Winery Sales Representative and Support Job Opening in Prosser, Washington - Four Feathers Wine Estates is a large-scale custom crush facility located in the heart of Washington wine country in Prosser, Washington. This is a bulk wine sales and marketing position which will be responsible in helping develop a marketing strategy for a growing bulk wine program along with bulk sales duties.
Due to the needs of the winery, this person will be engaged in bulk wine sales and marketing most of the year, November through August, and support the wine-tracker during harvest months, September and October.
This person will be responsible for assisting the winery in developing the bulk wine sales program. There may be times of the year that wine sales are slow as this program develops. Job assignments will vary during the year that include assisting and supporting multiple areas of the winery such as wine-tracking, cellar operations and other duties as identified by management.
Responsibilities
Bulk wine sales support & coordination
Marketing
Develop a bulk wine marketing program
Inventory
Improve our current bulk wine inventory tracking system
Logistics
Secure freight quotes, schedule shipments
Pulling and shipping wine samples
Invoicing
Invoice customers for bulk wine purchase
Monitor bulk wine aging reports
Production coordination and compliance
Work on compliance with clients; i.e.; dba, COLA
Bottling coordination; supplies, custom bottler scheduling, etc.
Sales
Follow-up on leads and wine samples
Manage communication with Four Feathers buyers and anticipate their requirements
Identify new markets with potential clients and develop outreach program
Reporting
Review, record and report sales transactions
Maintain monthly bulk wine sales report
Harvest Responsibilities (Late August ? November)
Wine-tracking support
Coordinate shipping of wine, juice, and cider to clients and prepare necessary paperwork
Support for wine-tracking including
Work order processing
Spreadsheet maintenance
Export work orders and create inventory reports for clients
Dry goods audit
702 report for TTB
Additional Responsibilities
May work in other departments depending on work load
Qualifications
Strong experience in sales and marketing required.
Strong computer, analytical, problem solving and communication skills required.
Detail-oriented, very organized, self-starter, team-player.
Experience in winery operations preferred.
Ability to work long hours, swing shift and weekend work.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Four Feathers Wine Estates does not provide visa assistance.
Regularly stand or/and sit for long periods of time, occasionally required to reach with hand & arms, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch, lift and/or move, up to 50 lbs.
