General Ledger Accountant Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - The United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM) is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for our dynamic and fast-paced community impact organization. UWCNM is a local non-profit organization serving Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia Counties. The successful candidate is a highly qualified accounting professional able to be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger and all the associated revenue accounts for all open campaign years.
This position has responsibility for pledge loss control, the design and implementation of cash handling protocols, implementation of UWCNM protocols with regards to stock donations, and primary responsibility for maintenance of the accounting records. Essential functions include pledge processing, reconciliations, monthly financial statements, banking and cash flow, investments, internal controls, and internal reporting. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of organizational skills.
Requirements include a Bachelor?s degree and five years? experience in non-profit finance. Experience with Abila MIP software and ability to meet deadlines and be flexible. New Mexico driver?s license required.
