Radiology Technologist - Full Time Weekday & night Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - This position is an immediate hire position. Pre-employment hiring process and training required as a priority by the applicant. This position also has a specific scheduling need.
Position Summary:
Utilizes independent judgement in the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures while under the direction of the department managers.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Registered and certified by the ARRT
Ability to make independent decisions using critical thinking, problem solving, and perform responsibilities while under stressful situations
Meet technical standards
Possess professional oral and written communication skills
Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record (DMI HR defined)
Maintain confidentiality
Pass a Background check (DMI HR defined)
Responsibilities and Standards of the Mobile Registered Technologist:
Perform diagnostic procedures on patients to meet the established practice parameters and standard of care.
Proper technical factor selection
Proper use of image receptors
Proper radiation protection provided for public
Proper documentation
Proper, professional patient care and assessment
Proper imaging/patient identification
Proper of part/patient
Works as a member of the healthcare team within DMI and our client?s facilities promoting professionalism, courtesy and teamwork at all times
Performs radiology exams in patient?s rooms
Performs specific job related clerical duties, execution of imaging processing procedures, and maintains proper inventory of job specific supplies
Assists with quality control/performance improvement measures as directed
Maintains through continuing education
Operates company vehicle within known driving laws, using good judgement at all times
Operates all diagnostic equipment as intended. Maintaining the upon returning equipment to the designated tech area
Working Conditions:
Conditions may be stressful at times; stat exams, high volume of exams
Much walking and standing; inside facilities and to and from work vehicle
Lifting and moving of
Exposure to radiation, blood, bodily fluids, infectious diseases
Working a set schedule, available for additional hours, and possible ?on-call? assignments
