Director, PATH San Diego Job Opening in san diego, California - Director, PATH San Diego Job Summary: The Director is the team leader for PATH�s programs in San Diego County, including Connections Housing, a homeless service center providing 225 units of permanent and interim housing, a multi- service center, and a health clinic. The Director manages a wide range of emergency, transitional, and affordable housing activities in San Diego for PATH, its subsidiaries, and its partners. The Director is the main contact in the community responsible for community development, internal and external strategic partnerships, community mobilization, regional planning, program incubation, and public relations. Essential Functions:  Administration � Administer and oversee all programs and staff for PATH San Diego.  Partner Relations � Build strong relationships and maintain ongoing communication with partner service providers. Manage partnerships with service providers to ensure ongoing communication and case management.  Community Relations � Serve as the main point of contact and community advocate for PATH San Diego and Connections Housing. Work closely with the local business community, neighborhood associations and external stakeholders.  Government Relations � Build strong relationships with City, County and Government entities and funders. Represent PATH San Diego at government and public meetings.  Programs � Work with staff and partners to maintain focus on client care and customer service, and prioritize moving clients into permanent housing. Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on program outcomes.  Fundraising � Create and manage effective local strategies and giving opportunities to raise private and public funding for PATH San Diego and Connections Housing. Build database of local supporters and donors. Work with PATH�s management team to develop events and fundraising campaigns for ongoing support.  Operations � Oversee facility operations and maintenance to address needs of partners, residents and clients, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.  Construction � Participate in first phase of Connections Housing project during construction and build out of the facility. Represent program needs during construction meetings to ensure build out occurs in accordance with program needs.  Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:  Supervises all of PATH San Diego�s programs and staff. Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor�s Degree in related field; Master�s Degree, or comparable experience, preferred.  5 years experience managing multiple programs and staff, with increasing leadership and management responsibilities.  Relevant community outreach experience.  High integrity, and commitment to ending homelessness. Necessary Skills & Abilities:  Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet usage, database navigation, typing).  Highly-motivated self-starter, with ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.  Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Proven ability to develop creative solutions.  Interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team.  Professional demeanor.  Ability to work with diverse communities.  Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Other Requirements:  Verification of employment eligibility and background check.  Valid California driver�s license and automobile insurance.  Reliable transportation.  Updated tuberculosis test (annual requirement) read, reviewed, and dated by a clinician within six months prior to start date. san diego ca california
