Office Manager and Executive Assistant Job Opening in New York, New york - OptionMetrics is the premier provider of options data and analytics used by over 300 investment banks, hedge funds and academic institutions globally. We are looking to expand our Team with the addition of a full-time Office Manager/Executive Assistant. Our ideal Office Manager/Executive Assistant is bright, energetic, polite, with amazing multitasking skills and able to manage a diverse workload daily. You will work very closely with the President of the company as well the rest of the Executive Team and other employees of OptionMetrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bookkeeping:
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Experience working with in areas including tax filings, quarterly tax estimates, sales tax filings and state tax filings a plus!
Use QuickBooks to write checks, prepare journal entries, and reconcile bank statements.
Prepare daily bank deposits
Prepare monthly customer invoices and work with vendors to fulfill any respectively
Assist accountant with tax records and filings
Be the primary person for logistics with USPS, UPS and others.
Administration and HR:
Answer phones and direct inquiries
Assist with employee 401K and health insurance changes
Manage office supplies and equipment
Assist with semi-monthly payroll
Filing and management of documents
Liaise with building management
Help organize OptionMetrics conferences and company events
Provide general administrative support for the CEO
Other responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree
QuickBooks experience A MUST!
Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized.
Strong interpersonal skills, sense of professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US.
