Staff Accountant with Timberline Job Opening in Basking Ridge, New jersey - Accounting Principals is searching for a Staff Accountant for our client in the Basking Ridge, NJ area. Previous experience with Timberline is strongly preferred! The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a strong presence as they will be dealing with sub contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing Accounts Payable
Assisting with job close out and procedures
Account reconciliations
Compiling and analyzing financial information
Assisting with general accounting month end closing procedures
Completing special projects as needed and other duties as required
Contacting customers and vendors
Function as a "Job Site Accountant"
Assist with monthly invoicing
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
Must be willing to travel to sites throughout NJ and NYC on a minimal basis
Experience with Timberline
Proficient in MS Excel
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 /hour
