Junior Accounting Analyst Job Opening in Woodbridge, New jersey - The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst to work as a supervisory employee in the Toll Audit Section of the Finance Department. The job requires strong analytical skills to monitor and review accounts and identify variances. The successful candidate will utilize investigational skills to determine the validity of reported information. The analyst is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports. Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or other business related field and be eligible to take the CPA exam in the State of NJ, have the ability to work independently, demonstrate expertise in the use of Excel, demonstrate the ability to utilize Financial Software efficiently, and demonstrate an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements.
