Direct Support Staff(PART TIME EXPERIENCED)- Group Home Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - Direct Support Staff(PART TIME EXPERIENCED)- Group Home *** SERIOUS AND QUALIFIED APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE *** TOLAD INC is currently taking applications for an EXPERIENCED Part Time Direct Support Staff with PRIOR GROUP HOME EXPERIENCE. Responsiblities include: Providing care for consumers with developmental disabilities and or traumatic brain injury in a group home setting, working on consumer goals, activities, community intergration, assisting with ADL'S, administering medications, treatment documentation,cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathing/shower consumers, meal preparation, light housekeeping chores, personal care as needed and other duties as assigned. Must have good written and verbal english skills, must be flexible,reliable and self motivated. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Shift hours are about 25 hours per week, must be able to work the following hours: Mondays to Fridays: 3PM TO 5PM Saturdays and Sundays from: 8am -3pm and 3pm - 10:30pm. ( MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK EITHER SHIFTS) Applicants must be able to pass the Department of Human Services background study. A current mantoux test results is required. Those applicants selected for interview must bring the following: A valid driver's license & current proof of automobile insurance. CPR, First aid and Medication Administration certificates.
