Showroom Sales Manager Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Overview
Established in 2008, Commonwealth Proper or "CMMP" () is a luxury custom suit and shirt brand best known for fine tailoring and innovative products made in the United States for the contemporary gentleman.
Commonwealth Proper is seeking a showroom manager for its flagship retail store in center city Philadelphia. Candidate must have experience working for luxury retail brands and/or custom clothing. This job will include selling made-to-measure custom garments as well as off-the-rack tailored clothing and accessories. Showroom manager will also be responsible for showroom merchandizing and supervising a sales team and an in-house tailoring shop.
Showroom Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Building individual client book of business by networking and communicating directly with clients and potential clients
Selling both custom and ready-to-wear garments
Facilitating alterations with our tailors
Providing wardrobe edit, styling and fit services to clients
Assisting client in choosing and designing custom garments
Chalking and pinning garments for alteration
Showroom Sales Manager Qualifications:
Energetic, hardworking and knowledgeable
Background in fashion, clothing and design
At least three years of luxury retail experience
Entrepreneurial, dedicated, willing to learn, and have a desire to help build and grow a new American brand
Prior experience in custom and made-to-measure clothing sales is preferred but not required
Showroom Sales Manager Perks:
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive compensation package which may include short and/or long term incentives, clothing allowance, and merchandise discount, in addition to base salary and benefits.
