We have a new opportunity available, and we are seeking a competitive and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative who would enjoy the business atmosphere of a smaller company (less than 50 employees) and is comfortable selling technical products and solutions in our team oriented environment.

Position Description (full-time)
In this role you will sell a diverse range of technical solutions related to emergency notifications needed for security, facility management and other applications. The Sales Representative?s primary objective is to create sales growth through active research for new leads, target prospecting, and timely follow-up of sales leads via various forms of communication. Becoming fully knowledgeable of the companies? products and their applications as solutions for customers within the vertical market is essential to success in this position.
This position may involve some travel to trade shows and to conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Meet and exceed sales objectives and productivity standards through utilization of aggressive, disciplined customer and prospect contacting processes.
Initiate and receive a full range of cold, warm, and account growth calls and other forms of communication regarding interest in company products.
Learn and demonstrate thorough product knowledge and understanding, and apply that knowledge effectively in solution based sales.
Complete regular follow-up to advance customer understanding of our solutions and movement through the selling-to-close cycle.
Return all customer and prospect communications with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Accurate quote preparation for prospects, ranging from budgetary drafts to large, complex bid packages.
Coordinate purchase order and system definition requirements with the customer to insure the installed solutions meet the selling expectations.
Some representatives may attend trade shows, conduct product demonstrations, and training sessions.
Provide superior customer service and 1st level customer support while demonstrating excellent product knowledge and understanding of customer issues, opportunities, and resolutions.
Completing and submitting accurate documentation of contact efforts, sales and expense reports, orders, and new account paperwork.
Education and Experience:
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals and quotas.
Prior solutions based sales experience a plus.
College degree or equivalent.
Experienced with Microsoft Office products, (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Familiarity working with customer relationship management tools (ex. ACT!, Salesforce, Sage CRM, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Sufficient auditory ability to make and receive phone calls.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
