Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing Job Opening in Mansfield, Ohio - We are looking to add an experienced and successful Executive Produce Broker to our company.
Our business focuses solely in the fresh produce market. This opportunity enables you to work from home, no matter where you are currently located. If you have previous produce brokering experience and a current book of business, this opportunity can set you up in your home office where you can work with clients all across the US.
If you are an established and successful broker whose business would benefit from the resources of a financially strong and stable company, we offer a sales draw split, provides excellent support and opportunities to work as a team with our current brokers.
This position will be responsible for managing current books of business and developing new sales with new and existing customers.
The position was newly created with the company prepped for growth and adding new commodity lines.
Position Responsibilities Includes:
Provide customer service management to all customer channels.
Achieve sales growth through retail and food service sales and develop seasonal contracts.
Negotiate long and short-term pricing strategies that meet or exceed sales targets and category growth.
Develop goals based on sales targets, competitive environment, seasonal supply, and demand.
Occasional regional and national travel to conventions, shows, and customer locations as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualifications Include
Documented track record of business development in fresh produce with Retail stores and other channels.
Strong fresh produce background. Tomato and/or Onion category experience highly desired.
Established customer base and large number of industry contacts required.
No relocation necessary.
