Aerospace Wire Assembler Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Aerospace Wire Assembler Position Summary: Assembles minor wire and various other assemblies according to customer processes and specifications. Position Responsibilities: ? Conducts pre-production set-up, ensuring efficient workstation layout and that all materials are available and acceptable for use and obtains buyoff from authorized co-worker. ? Conducts inspection of all tasks performed, ensuring that all products and services meet quality standards. ? Performs and documents intermittent quality checks (SPC tracking, pull tests, etc.) ? Documents all nonconformances immediately per existing procedures. ? Works within Quality System to obtain root cause and provide corrective action. ? Endeavors every day to reduce and eliminate nonconformances. ? Performs all jobs according to customer requirements utilizing Quality System, blue prints, specifications, job plans, parts lists, MSDS and other required documents as applicable. ? Assigned processes include, but are not limited to, clocking, crimping/simple, disassembly, kitting, packaging/part protection, part marking, sorting, terminals, tool set up and bracket building. ? Models appropriate work performance as an example to clientele. ? Performs other related duties as assigned by manager. Essential Skills and : ? Ability to follow basic verbal and/or written instructions ? Ability to work effectively and positively in a team-oriented environment ? Ability to carry out simple one or two-step instructions ? Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables High School diploma or equivalent. Good attention to detail. Ability to do work requiring fine motor skills. Ability to read blueprints and specs. Basic math and mechanical aptitude skills required. Able to successfully pass a background Check and Drug testing.
