Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned clients
Discuss operational issues with assigned client business owners (i.e., sales, gross profit, and inventory)
Compile Cash Flow Projections and Budgets for clients
Prepare, post and review adjusting and closing journal entries
Perform and review account and bank reconciliations
Track all assigned deliverables and communicate routinely with Accounting Manager
Assist in training Accountants and Accounting Clerks
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting preferred (CPA is a plus)
Strong understanding of Accounting rules and Variance Analysis
5-8 years in accounting (Public accounting or Inventory Accounting Experience would be beneficial, but not required)
Knowledge of accounting systems such as Greentree, Peachtree and QuickBooks
Accept ownership of all areas of responsibility
Microsoft Excel Skills: Minimum skillset: Intermediate user and able to successfully perform v-lookups and utilize pivot tables
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet assigned deadlines by prioritizing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously
Work efficiently and independently; yet function successfully as part of a team
