Physical Therapist Job Opening in Boise, Idaho - $5,000 Hire-On or Relocation Bonus! Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a full time permanent Physical Therapist for our outpatient WorkSTAR Program. The ideal candidate would have one to two years of experience. However, we would be willing to consider a new graduate, who is excited to learn in an open encouraging environment, working closely with other therapists. STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with sites in Idaho and Oregon.
WorkSTAR, the Occupational Rehabilitation program at STARS, provides multiple services to the community to assist injured workers in their safe return from work-related injuries to productive work and lifestyle. Services provided include Work Hardening, Conditioning & Safety Training (CAST) Program, Work Conditioning, Functional Capacity Assessments/KEY Medley System, Job Placement Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Job Site Evaluation (JSE).

Skills, knowledge, education and experience:
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Idaho Physical Therapist Licensing Board.
Graduated from an accredited school as Physical Therapist with a B.S., M.S., or M.P.T. degree and completion of the required field work and internships.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
Two to Three year's ortho outpatient experience.
Must understand all basic physical therapy skills and be able to perform them accurately; must demonstrate good evaluation and observation skills for strength assessment, gait analysis, equipment recommendations, home evaluations, and range of motion assessment.
Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in physical medicine.
Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
Cognizant of safety issues and demonstrate skills in reading and writing, and able to communicate professionally.
Must have organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve.
