Sales Estimator - Alarm & Suppression Sales Job Opening in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - Position Summary:
Assist in the design of various types of fire alarm and suppression systems from start to finish for commercial and industrial applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review, outline and interpret engineer specifications and understand the scope of work to bid.
Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, electrical layouts and diagrams.
Consult with sales to determine best suited application for design of project.
Act as a central point of contract to builders/general contractors for bidder lists and other resource information.
Ability to interpret, understand and plot CAD drawings.
Assist sales and CAD designer with pre-sale design work, create estimates and proposals.
Attend site survey/pre-bid meetings when necessary.
Assist with assembly of panels and programming of devices.
Obtains pricing on materials from subcontractors.
Assist with job deployments, pre-bid meetings and tollgates.

High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred with one to three years related work experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exception customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with CAD and computers, especially Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to cope with change and meet deadlines.
