We seek an experienced Financial Controller to support the management team by overseeing finance, budgeting and human resources. The successful candidate will also provide insightful analysis and recommendations for the high growth business.
The Financial Controller reports to CFO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Executive Team in the establishment of economic goals and objectives
Develop corporate budget and strategic plan based on identified corporate goals and objectives
Manage corporate, capital and legal structure
Oversight, preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly and annual financial reporting and closing, including preparation of company financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and other reports
Design, implement and maintain an ERP
Develop, implement and monitor operational policies and internal controls
Implement contracts management, billing and financial systems
Manage accounting staff, including AR and AP
Responsible for international and domestic treasury functions
Manage and liaison for all strategic tax and tax compliance outsourced functions
Establish and manage sound transfer pricing practices
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Oversee the payroll processing, regulations and related reporting; including maintenance of employees? files compliance with California labor laws, and maintenance of personnel manual
Contract, manage and administer employees? benefits programs
Manage business risks, including business insurance
Administration and oversight of employee incentive plans
Specific skills and experience required for this position
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance/Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting required
CPA certification or MBA degree preferred
5+ years in a Financial Controller role mandatory (client-side)
Experience with international companies, currencies and transfer pricing principles
In-depth knowledge of accounting and accounting principles, financial management and budgeting
Ability to effectively organize and manage workload and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple
priorities while adhering to deadlines
Team player and supportive colleague with strong interpersonal skills
Strong professional communication and writing skills
