Housekeeping Director 012 Job Opening in Grand Island, Nebraska - The Heritage at Sagewood a the newest Retirement community in Grand Island, NE, is looking for a Housekeeping Director to join our "New" management team!
Responsibilities:
Ensures the community?s building and grounds are maintained in a quality manner and are presentable at all times for residents and the public.
Develops in conjunction with the Executive Director and the resident?s service plan a housekeeping schedule for the community.
Ensures that resident apartments are cleaned according to the housekeeping schedule by their associates or themselves on a weekly basis.
Keeps building common areas and furniture in a proper manner making sure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and trash is removed according to community policy.
Monitors department budget on a declining budget form.
Inventories supplies and equipment and completes ordering for the department.
Develops a schedule for the housekeeping associates, coordinates their work tasks, and provides on-going training and education for the housekeeping associates.
Qualifications:
Required 2 Years Experience, working as a supervisor in housekeeping for a similar healthcare setting.
