Executive Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Grand Island, Nebraska - Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Purpose: Provide support for the Chief Executive Officer, COO and other executives with administrative, leadership, supervision, and program oversight duties.
Reports to: Vice President- COO
Operational and Management Responsibilities
Relieves management of administrative detail on all projects assigned
Coordinates work flow
Updates and follows delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines
Keeps projects on schedule
Composes for COO or CEO
Checks deadlines on incoming requests and initiates preliminary work in play
: Prepares agenda in advance, arranges meeting facilities, acts as recording secretary; prepare action minutes
Assures discreet handling of all business
Takes part in administrative meetings to assure secretarial follow-through
Coordinates the organization?s compliance efforts with accreditation standards, and manages the accreditation process.
Reviews and updates Standard Operating Procedures with regard to changes in regulatory requirements or workforce.
Participates in other functions as needed within the organization.
External Relationship Responsibilities
Ensures that Mid-Plains Center maintains collaborative working relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders.
Assists in promoting the organization through participation in community events, media campaigns, and other public relations activities.
Creates and/or distributes publications describing the organization?s services including both print and electronic media.

Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree with
Experience and/or understanding of statistics, data collection, strategic planning, CQI and accreditation processes.
Presentation experience and skills.
