Project Coordinator
Signal Restoration Services announces a staff opening for 1 Full Time Project Coordinators located in Troy, Michigan.
SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator (PC) will act as the primary point of contact and reference for all parties involved in the successful execution of a job. The PC?s main goal will be to aid in the successful execution of a job by facilitating the completion of required tasks and documentation on a daily basis. The PC will achieve this goal by being knowledgeable about all the requirements and phases of a job, supporting the Estimator and PM throughout the job, establishing and nurturing relationships with our clients and customers/insured, researching and resolving issues as quickly as possible, and providing superior customer service, both internally and externally at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in basic construction accounting and experience with construction accounting software is preferred.
Ability to problem solve on a regular basis
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Computer proficiency to include current company software programs
Knowledge of general office procedures (filing, general recordkeeping)
Advanced communication (listening, writing and verbal skills) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks, changing priorities, short deadlines and heavy workload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Track the progression of a job from initiation to completion using project management software and checklists. Update WIP tracker or job board for pending and current jobs.
Act as primary point of contact for all parties involved in the execution of a job, including: estimators, project managers, clients (carrier programs, insurance companies, adjusters), customers/insured (property managers, commercial or residential property owners), subcontracts and suppliers, account payable and receivable, administrators.
Maintain schedule for scheduled inspections, mitigation, or pack outs/pack backs for estimator/PM reference. Schedule initial inspections with homeowners. Assist in scheduling subcontracts for job walk through.
Create rapport and build relationships with our clients and customers/insured.
Understand requirements, regarding documentation and timeframes, of each carrier program and/or insurance company.
Provide consistent, high-level ?10 out of 10? customer service to both clients and customers. Follow through on promised dates and times for responses and deliverables to any parties.
Educate our clients and customers/insured about our overall process and set realistic expectations
Research and resolve any concerns from clients and customers/insured. Follow up on any and all issues affecting the forward progression of a project.
Interact with fellow teammates in a positive, respectful, and supportive matter. Promote teamwork!

Ability to sit in front of computer for long periods of time
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
Physical activity is light and may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 20 lbs.
Overtime may be required in order to meet deadlines
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment
Noise level in the work environment can, at times, be distracting or loud
SALARY AND RELATED:
Salary is based on experience. Benefits include a health and dental plan.
