Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Portage, Michigan - AVB is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk .
Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly close and financial statement preparation
Large volume of accounts payables and receivables activities
Processing of payroll with a third party
Reconciliation activities including customer and GL accounts
Improve and streamline existing practices
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associate degree preferred
2-5 years of professional experience in accounting preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Timberline helpful but not required
