Analyst - Project Controls / Unifier Program Management Impl... Job Opening in Hartford, Connecticut - This six month term position requires strong communications, reporting, management and coordination capabilities. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required by the client/project. Candidates will be required to assist in the coordination and analyze of all aspects of a Unifier Program Management System Implementation, including data entry, mining, and ongoing support to all end users for major institutional clients.
This position will work as a part of our Business Solutions implementation team to provide day-to-day system support and analyze data in support of an Oracle Unifier Implementation. In this role you will work with Oracle systems and potentially 3rd party financial systems alongside a collaborative team to perform the following:
Enter Data into Capital Program Management System
Data analysis and verification
Recommendations to correct data and report errors
Assisting end users in correcting project data
Identify and communicate potential issues and solutions
Assist in providing general guidance on best practices to ensure constant flow of data to minimize/eliminate revisions
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must possess a basic functional knowledge of project cost accounting and database development. These skills include:
Knowledge of database functionality in desired
Ability to develop and maintain successful user relations and ensure the smooth integration and implementation of the Unifier System
Ability to be accountable for project deadlines
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
Attention to detail
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Primavera P6 and / or Microsoft Project preferred
Qualities
Strong communications skills
Ability to assist in the development of effective and persuasive presentations and ability to learn to train all end users, including staff, vendors and other outside entities
Ability to serve the Programs best interest and work effectively with client groups to coordinate project activities.
Must be passionate and willing to learn.
Degree and Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Accounting or Finance
0 - 2 years? experience in SQL
Project Management, Accounting and Finance Experience a big plus
