Project Manager / Customer Service Representative Job Opening in Stamford, Connecticut - Arcadia is a leading national single source supplier specializing in producing fine quality windows and doors for the Commercial and Luxury Home Markets.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Customer Service Representative to be based on our Stamford, CT manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and has experience as a Project Manager / Customer Service Representative in a manufacturing company, preferably in the window and door fabrication business, is highly detail-oriented, and can work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Duties
Receive and organize all new orders
Take post sale customer calls and emails
Enter orders into accounting and job tracking systems ? converting the quote into an order and establish a job number
Review order, confirm if shop drawings are required, new material is needed to be ordered and establish lead time
Speak to estimator to insure all pricing is in place and to review project details
Contact customer and review order and Arcadia?s order procedures
Organize and prepare projects going to draftsman for shop drawings
Review finished shop drawings and send to customer
Prepare Sales Acknowledgment showing all project information
Help with the overflow of fabrication sheets to develop glass sizes
Coordinate resolution of glass issues
Send Sales Acknowledgment to customer for approval ? insure paperwork returns in a timely fashion
Work with Purchasing and Production Coordinator that work orders, and purchase orders are properly prepared
Update customer on order process
Work with Purchasing and Production Coordinator and Production to confirm project is on time
Any issues or delay with order must contact customer and provide update
Work with shipping coordinator to make sure project ships out
Help trouble shoot any on site issues
Confirm that the dealer has a signed paperwork ? Credit Application, Warranty Information, Dealer insurance certificate and signed dealer agreement
Key Competencies
Three (3) years of Customer Service/Project Management experience
Experience in the window and door fabrication business
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with variety of personnel both verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience with a culturally diverse work population
Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
College degree preferred
