Retirement Plan Administration Specialist Job Opening in Wichita, Kansas - Qualified Plan Solutions LC is growing! We are seeking EXPERIENCED self-motivated full-time Retirement Plan Administrators to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Stay current with applicable ERISA and IRS rules and regulations
Preparation of Summary of Plan Specifications
Determination of eligible participants for annual discrimination testing
Calculation of contribution accruals and allocation of employer and employee contributions
Determination of vested percentage of participants? accounts for distribution purposes
Loan monitoring
Reconciliation of accounts
Preparation of actual deferral percentage and actual contribution percentage discrimination tests
Testing for compliance with Sections 415 (annual additions), 410(b) coverage and 401(a)(4), as applicable
Testing of account balances for top heavy status
Preparation of the Form 5500 series filings
Preparation of Form 8955-SSA, when required
Preparation of the Summary Annual Report

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience working in retirement plan administration
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
ASPPA or NIPA credentials are a plus
Strong math and computer aptitude as well as attention to detail
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Prioritization ability as well as problem solve through research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and on the phone
