Accounting Intern Job Opening in Huntsville, Alabama - Growing accounting firm in Huntsville has an opportunity for an accounting student to gain experience in public accounting in the firm?s small business accounting division. Located just 2 miles from UAH, we have a convenient location for college students working part time. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities include creating tax-basis financial statements in QuickBooks for dozens of small business clients (revenues between $100k and $5m), using source documents such as bank statements, credit card statements, receipts, payroll reports, etc.
Qualifications:
Accounting major, or Accounting minor with a Business major
At least 2 Accounting classes
Attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Excellent problem solving skills
We require a minimum of 20 hours per week, but 30-40 hours per week is preferred.
We require a commitment through mid-April 2018 at a minimum. Continuing opportunities will likely be available beyond that point as well.
