National Sales Executive Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - Mid America is an asset based global service provider and developer of TMS software solutions based in Saint Louis Missouri. We driven, ambitious, hard working professional who is seeking a business to business sales role. This position is designed around building a professional book of business for those seeking an unlimited about of income in a $700 billion a year industry with financial stability during a six-month training program.
The Account Executive program at our Corporate Headquarters begins with an in-depth training and mentorship program over a six month period. In the first six months, you will act as a Logistics Coordinator receiving hands on training. At the end of a successful training cycle completed in six to twelve months based on performance, you will roll into a full-time operations or sales role. Both tracks have unlimited income potential where you will use entrepreneurial creativity, innovation and tenacity to acquire and grow existing accounts, oversee truckload operations, hire and develop producers to build your own business. As your business grows you are provided direct reports and promotions to support your growing book of business.
Unlike other training programs that make you "sink or swim" Mid America Logistics takes extra steps to ensure success within our business. This is proven by low turnover rates and long tenure of our staff. Furthermore, commissions click in on day one of the training which provides a guaranteed base salary and continuous training.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience (we don't want to be your first job)
Prior sales experience preferred
Not afraid of making cold calls
Must be motivated to make $$$. If you're content only making $75k per year; this position is NOT for you!
Track record of being in an interactive role at some point in an academic or professional setting
4-year degree (preferred but can be augmented with professional experience)
Willingness to get your hands dirty and motivated by success
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain integrity in all business dealings
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be driven to grow

$45,000 Base Salary
Variable uncapped compensation directly tied to gross profit of business under management
