This position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Finance team in the preparation of SEC reports and GAAP technical accounting compliance including related research and white papers. It will maintain key internal controls and accounting processes and provide analyses as required. It will require some travel and the ability to work across functions as required.
Essential Functions:
Ensures US GAAP technical accounting compliance, including related research and white papers.
Reviews and interprets accounting standards and implements new rules and regulations.
Creates/updates 10K/10Q disclosures based on accounting pronouncements and provides technical analyses of new and existing pronouncements.
Provides support for monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
Provides impairment analyses over investments, goodwill and other intangible assets (balance sheet analysis.
Provides finance/accounting support for business acquisitions and dispositions.
Maintains internal controls over corporate accounting and consolidation processes and supports internal and external audit requests.

Salary: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
