Auditor Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Entry level associates will have a chance to apply their education and experience to practice while being provided guidance from experienced professionals using the latest technology.
As an experienced audit associate, you will continue your career working with privately held companies in diverse industries, non-profit organizations and governments. While working on various team engagements, you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the engagement, not just selective sections or tasks. Your contribution will include assisting with engagement planning, evaluation of risk assessment and establishing the audit approach. You will be the primary client contact while conducting fieldwork. In addition, you will be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to entry-level associates, completion of all aspects of the engagement including drafting financial statements and reports.
As the in-charge auditor, you will enhance your existing knowledge and experience while being provided guidance from experienced professionals using the latest technology. Travel is required and will average about 30%.

The firm subscribes to internet based research services in order to perform any necessary research of reporting or accounting issues related to our clients. All our team members are knowledgeable about these research services to provide the type of effective and timely response that our clients want and deserve. All team members work in a paperless environment in which documentation is available within the Firm or accessible while at our clients' offices. We provide staff training and continuing professional education so that all team members remain current with the relevant standards.
Required skills: knowledge of GAAP and GAAS, accounting degree or equivalent, proficient with technology, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, able to organize and prioritize projects.
Technical skills: proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with automated accounting systems a plus.
CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
(Classification of staff, senior or manager will depend on experience.)
