Corporate Accountant Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - S&M Moving Systems is a U.S. based transportation company servicing individuals and corporations with their domestic and international shipping needs. We are currently looking for an individual with strong accounting skills and strong work ethic to fill the position of Corporate Accountant in our Phoenix location.
This individual will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in accounting or similar area of study and 5 or more years of experience with general ledger entries, reconciliations, financial statement and annual financial reviews. This position will report to our Corporate Accounting Manager and will interact with our CFO, COO and CEO thus requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Daily monitoring and processing of outgoing banking transactions
Posting of daily, monthly and annual general ledger transactions
General ledger account reconciliations
Fixed assets and depreciation
Lease and loan amortizations schedule calculations
Preparation and distribution of monthly financials
Schedule preparation and communication with auditors for sales, property and income tax audits and annual financial reviews
Applicant Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar area of study
5+ years experience in Corporate Accounting
