Full-Time position available immediately
A customer service billing representative is needed immediately to work within our inbound call center.
This is not a sales or telemarketing position *
*** Candidate Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred);
At least one (1) year experience receiving patient phone calls and resolving billing questions in a healthcare environment (preferably a doctor?s office, hospital setting, medical billing office);
A pleasant phone mannerism with lots of patience, compassion and understanding;
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required;
Excellent clerical and data entry skills;
Ability to multi-task and keep organized in a fast paced environment;
Working knowledge of electronic billing/collections software (preferably Centricity);
Typing and Computer skills (word and excel);
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Must be able to work at a fast pace, and troubleshoot payment problems with minimal supervision;
*** Job Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Accepting patient phone calls while providing courteous and accurate responses to their questions
Collecting patient payments made from receiving their monthly statements
Researching patient visits, insurance coverage/EOBs, etc as needed
Performing basic data entry into database system
Misc services such as scanning, faxing, email
Completing other tasks as needed
