Assistant Therapist - Optometry Job Opening in Cromwell, Connecticut - Busy Behavioral Optometry practice, specializing in the exciting and cutting-edge field of Vision Therapy, is looking for a bubbly, dynamic person that is flexible, fun and engaging with adults and with children, ages 1 and up, to hire as a Full-Time Vision Therapy Assistant . This is a start-up environment where individuals strive to be better and want to make a difference.
You will help patients build the visual foundation they need for academic, career and social success!
Hours include Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. Paid training. Associates degree required or experience in medical field. Salary commensurate with experience.
We will train you. Rate increase after completion of training.
include:
Work well with others as individual will be part of the Optometric Vision Therapy team.
Assist in sessions with children to develop visual efficiency and visual processing skills--we will train you.
"Can-do" approach to everything -- you will be expected to make magic happen!
Strong organizational skills -- the office can get hectic; so multi-tasking is essential!
Excellent customer service skills and team spirit are a must!
Patience and flexibility -- we are constantly looking to improve our systems to deliver excellent patient care, run the office more efficiently, and make the environment more fun for staff and patients.
Willingness to learn and implement comprehensive therapeutic treatment plan.
Strong sense of passion for helping others, meeting goals, and achieving results.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Efficient maintenance of files and records.
Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
Help in other areas of the office as needed.
